My New Summer Suit

I did creams & browns, so I took a chance that this one may fit. I am afraid the pants length may come up short, but it sounds like something my tailor may be able to play with.

The seller claims 1949, my bet is that is the union tag. So early '50s?

Pretty sweet. In all my years, I have never seen a vintage seer sucker. I don't know if this would qualify, but kind of seems it.

SOmething in decent shape in your size at that price is indeed the find.

I saw this one and was decidedly unsure as to how to date it. The label is what threw me. Reminds me awfully of the late 60s.

But looking again, and reading that there is a snapper at the waist makes me think maybe early-mid 1950s. You'll be able to tell better once it gets to you.

The label is a bit goofy. But have you seen lapels like this or dropped belt loops on a '60s suit before?

The label looks 70s to me, but I could see it possibly being just an odd style and odd sied fifties one.

The vent is short which says sixtyies.

The lack of cuff on the pants worries me, but that is not unheard of.
