Saturday, I graduated my Emergency Response training course thru CORE.

We put out fires, did basic first aid, cribbing, AND I volunteered to be the incident commander - managing 30 people thru a earthquake re-enactment...downed power lines, fires etc. I got a lot of praise for how I handled it.

Ironically, Shift 2 commander was a Art Deco Society Member also! we bumped into each other at Sundays Vintage Festival http://www.vintageclothingstylefestival.com

The Fire Men loved my response kit - using my WWII gear and using the shovel holder for my gas shut off tool.

They were very intrigued about my WWII interest. As a ANC impressionist I am going to continue to take First Response training to go beyond the costuming.
