I'm sad to do this after all the work I put into getting it to look like this but it's too big for me now, and I have to deal with reality. I've kept it in my closet for 6 months even though it doesn't fit because it turned out so beautifully I almost convinced myself to keep it to look at and show/bore friends with when they came over. But that's ridiculous and I've finally accumulated the strength to deal with in the heat of the San Diego summer.
For sale, I have a gorgeous virtually new Mister Freedom Campus Stud Jacket in natural sz 40 that I spent a LOT of time tanning and conditioning, wiped down and set the perfect sleeve rolls into. This is the one with the snap buttons. I ended up far preferring the snaps to the buttons usually used on a previous campus I had. I think I've actually gotten to wear it 2 or 3 times. Asking $950. Sunshine editions are about $1200, this looks more even and better than any of the sunshine editions I've seen sold on the site.
The grain on this particular jacket is incredibly tight and smooth, extremely thick and really impressive quality. In fact, it's the best natural cowhide I have ever seen. There is some nice grain on the back panel, but besides that its very smooth. The tan turned out an eye catching honey/gold and the color/tanning is very even, the sleeves rolls set really nicely.
The First 5 pictures are what it currently looks like after I finished tanning, conditioning, and setting the sleeves. I tried to show in some different lighting to give a good idea of the color. The other pictures show it in various stages of the tanning process, brand new, and then a side by side of new/one week of sun. Someone please give this a good home with a lot wear and affection. Heartbroken to see this go but it will ease the pain if it can go to someone who will appreciate it and put wear on it for years to come.
