Make Me A Leather Blanket

Hey!
I am looking for someone to sew me a leather sleeping bag / blanket.
I already know this will cost thousands of dollars and am prepared for that.

Buy yourself a leather hide and a micro fleece blanket or a Pendleton if you've got cash to spare and make your own and it won't cost much more than a few hundred. Or get a dressmaker or upholsterer to do the stitching on hide and blanket you've chosen. Pendleton sell leather strap blanket carriers cheaply - you could get one and extend the straps to fit your design - hand stitch or poppers or find a saddler to do the modification of even make you one. In fact a saddler would be able to do the whole thing.

It's not that hard to buy a whole hide from someplace like Tandy Leather and hand stitch your blanket or sleeping bag shape.

Lookup furriers on line and buy what you want. Then have a Hudson bay blanket sewn to the non finished side. I have seen horsehide and buffalo done this way.
