My son was born Jan. 20, 2000... the day before a total lunal eclipse.

When we was just a year or two old he would go outside and howl at the moon. Nobody taught him to do this... he just did it.

The Eclipse occurs in your joint financial zone and may bring issues in this area to a head. There may be a lot of emotion flying around, but don't overreact or make snap decisions. It is better to wait until the dust has settled, and then you can see exactly what needs to be done. It might be better still if you can wait until the following week as any sense of frustration is going to continue for a few days. This Eclipse is encouraging you to let go of old issues and past hurt so that you can move on with a clean slate.

Curses!

The one time all winter (not really, but it feels like it) that we get snow, and it comes the same night as the eclipse. Snow or not, it looks like there will be cloud cover tomorrow night over the whole region of New York. Drat!

Thanks for the heads up...and like you, I'm figuring since we've had a week or so of crystal clear, cold nights with stars out in abundance, I'm expecting we'll have clouds galore tomorrow, dammit.

NOAA as of 9:10 AM EST is calling for cloud cover At 7:00 PM then clearing by 10:00 PM EST. Eclipse in NY at 8:45? Keeping my fingers crossed.
My daughter is three, she notices the moon when it rises from our back yard, "Daddy! The moon!" then reports it's phase, "Tonight it's a half". She would love to keep an eye on it as it changes, I just hope it's visible here.

As I predicted - I woke up to clouds and drizzle. Now an hour or so later, mixed clouds and sun peeking out. In other words, Mother Nature's going to be teasing me all day long and making me wonder what the weather ultimately will be tonight.

The Weather Channel predicts overcast skies through tomorrow. :(

So much for the Sunshine State.

Today's eclipse falls in your 10th House of Career, adding stress to a situation that may have already created trouble at work. But even if a problem has grown out of control, things can begin to change for the better if you loosen your grip. Don't attempt to make any big changes yet, for your best strategy now is to make a number of small adjustments until the turbulence settles back down.

(Oh GOODIE! More stress for me!:eusa_doh: )

We have a perfect view of it here -- the 7pm show just let out, and there's a crowd of folks on the sidewalk outside the theatre looking up as the bite gets bigger.

Last time I saw a total lunar eclipse was the night the Red Sox won the World Series in 2004 -- maybe there'll be some kind of another miracle this time!

Wow!

Wow! I thought it would be cloudy, but verily I say unto thee, lo and behold, the clouds hath parted and forsooth the moon eclipseth!
Cool to think that Loungers all over the country are looking at the same moon playing peekaboo with us. As Maynard G Krebs so succinctly put it. "What an age we live in, Dobe."
