Lock & Co Cap Fit

Looking for some advice on this Lock & Co flat cap I just picked up. It is for my size (59, or 7 3/8), but does not have as deep a crown as I have had in previous caps and feels more snug. It is cut straight as opposed to dipping in the back (hence not as much room in the crown as I am used to). I have an oval head and am wondering if it is a proper fit? Maybe I have been wearing caps a bit too big in the past? Would appreciate any thoughts and have attached some pics of my wearing the Lock & Co. cap. Cheers.
