Vintage Stetson from the dress uniform of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (the Mounties).
Excellent Condition Boxed and Stored in Packaging
by Biltmore - suppliers to the RCMP.
Hat size: 56 cm (7").
A genuine (unissued) stetson. The wide, flat-brimmed stetson was officially adopted by the RCMP in 1904 (Sam Steele is often credited with introducing the stetson-type hat) and it is key part of the iconic image of the red-coated, mountie along with breeches and riding boots.
This is a high quality product, identical in quality to those issued to the RCMP, it was purchased in Toronto, Canada in 1999.
From a smoke-free home.
This is a fragile, bulky item (in a large box) and so the shipping is quite expensive.
