Levi A1 leather jacket

Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. I found this A1 jacket on the 'bay that I really like:

I was wondering if this is the same jacket that was manufactured by Aero Leathers since I've read they had a partnership with Levis.

Any info would greatly be appreciated!

It could be an Aero although I strongly doubt it. The buttons are machine sewn on this jacket (two parallel loops) whereas Aero buttons are usually handsewn (cross sewn). I've never seen this type of leather and knits before (on an Aero)...but this doesn't mean that it couldn't be one of their jackets. The collar looks a bit too pointy as well.

Maybe one of the usuals could chime in?

Aero did make a similar jacket for Levi...often discribed as 'beet brown' in color...but this jacket does have some outstanding differences. The discription now says 'made in Japan'. I don't know if that has recently been added..but it seems to confirm that it wasn't made by Aero.

I don't have any enlightening information regarding manufacturing but I do know that jacket has been on ebay for quite some time(several months). It's had quite a few price drops along the way.
