Lauren Bacall is 84 today!

Did anyone else know that today was Lauren Bacall's birthday? She turned 84. She is still acting and has been doing small roles in movies. Her last role was in a movie last year. It was called The Walker.

I'm two months late but Happy Birthday to Ms. Bacall. Her performance at the ripe old age of 19 in "To Have and Have Not" in 1944 is the reason my daughter was named Lauren in 1986. Ms. Bacall was something in that movie!

I've met her at a few charity events over the years and generally she's been quite surly to most anyone attempting to engaged her. I hear that's her MO. Some (Jason Robards) have said that she's never gotten over Bogey's death.
