I am only guessing on the date of this spectacular Donegal tweed sportcoat - the style of the collar and the 4 pleated patch pockets appear pretty typical of the late 40's "Hollywood" style. Short center vent and 4 button closure - woven leather buttons. Taupe lining - can't tell if it is rayon or silk. There are no labels at all that I can find, so appears to be a bespoke garment. Extra heavy weave of tweed - primary colors are brown and tan, with large multicolored slubs - No size label, so please check measurements - Chest (armpit to armpit) 46", Sleeve (top of shoulder to cuff) 23", Length (bottom back of collar to hem) 31.5". Condition is excellent - no undone stitching, holes, stains or smells. Price is $45 shipped in USA - overseas please inquire as jacket is fairly bulky.
