My daughter was watching a Disney flic called Tower of Terror last night. The movie is loosely based on the Disneyland ride of the same name and is centered around the mysterious disappearance of an elevator car full of people that just vanished into thin air one New Years night in the 30's. Pretty fun film if your in the mood for that sort of thing, anyway the setting of the old Hollywood Hotel gone to the spooks as it is makes it a fun watch.

Now there's a blast from the past, I remember Bugsy Malone. I believe Scott Baio (Happy Days & Joanie Loves Chachi) was in the movie. What I wouldn't give to have one of the splurge guns used in the film!

Hehehe. Glad to bring back memories for yah, VB. Bugsy was always one of my favourite movies.

What I would do to get one of those awesome little pedal-cars. I used to dream about them when I was a kid. they were all specially-built for the movie, as of course, were the iconic splurge-guns.

How about the new movie "HUGO"?

It takes place in the Gare Montparnasse railroad station in Paris, in 1931.

The famous train-wreck that happened at Gare Montparnasse in 1895. It features in the movie in a dream-sequence.

I couldn't decide which version of this number I like better so here's both of them.

Annie (1982)

You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile

Hey Hobo Man, hey Dapper Dan
You've both got your style
But brother, you're never fully dressed
Without a smile

Your clothes may be Beau Brummelly
They stand out a mile
But brother, you're never fully dressed
Without a smile

Who cares what they're wearing?
On Main Street or Saville Row?
It's what you wear from ear to ear
And not from head to toe that matters

So Senator, so Janitor
So long for a while
Remember you're never fully dressed
Without a smile

Depending on age, I suppose, there are the Indiana Jones pictures. I saw Temple in the cinema at nine, and the following Christmas saw Raiders for the first time.
