Japanese jacket dealers in China and high quality leather makers

HI everyone,

I am going to China in the end of this month for two weeks, mostly in Beijing and two days in Shanghai. As a habit, anytime I go to a foreign country, I try to explore the leather scene there. So, I would like to ask if you guys know any Japanese (or high-quality) leather jackets dealer in China who has the likes of Rainbow Country, Freewheelers, Real Mccoy,... I assume there should be a bunch as China is really close to Japan, and with the Chinese population, there should be a huge market for any kind of niche. Also, is there any really good leather jacket maker in China who has great construction (straight, consistent, high-count stitches...) and use high quality leather from big names like Shinki, Horween, Badalassi,...? Basically, I am looking for the equivalent of Flame Panda but for leather jacket. I read about Tony's Leather on this forum and checked out his store in Taobao. Although the designs are solid in general, it appears to me that his leather looks kind of thin and not that high quality.

Also, a separate question on Flame Panda. I sent Peng a message both by email and Instagram about three weeks ago and asked him if I could visit his store to have him measure my foot and order directly from there, but I haven't gotten any response. Since my trip is coming in a week, does anyone know if there is a faster and easier way to get a response from him? Also, does anyone have the experience of coming into his store and have him measure your foot there?

Thank you!

There is definitely a bunch of great stores selling the good Japanese brands. I don't know their locations though because I usually shop online on Taobao, but I know most of the stores I use have physical shops.

I can give you some of their taobao stores names.

Shanghai:
RIVETS
LongTimeNoSeeWei (Mandombugs)

Not sure of store locations:
superXY SHOP
The Roots Shop
Double Indigo
FRANKSTORE
HALF - CITY
MENTION
Lost in time
DC先锋店
OPQstore
SOLOMAX

I know the owner of Mandombugs personally, his name is Wei, great guy.
I've shopped at Rivets a lot as well since I'm based in Shanghai.

My favourite for Japanese leather jackets is superXY, good prices, always helpful with sizing ect.

Most of these stores are run by Amekaji guys, enthusiasts, and very knowledgeable.

Wow that is super helpful and informative! Thank you! Do you happen to know if China has any leather maker with great construction that can be compared to the likes to Thedi, Himel.... I saw a post on Rednote about Gizemo. From what I read; it seems like the owner of Gizemo used to be an apprentice of John Chapman from Goodwear. Their A2 also looks solid. Not sure if they have a physical store.
