An interesting story about this hysterical send up of the world of Modernist (or Post Modernist) Art in the style of a classic 1950s UK children's book series.

The layers here run deep. Not only do venture capitalists play with balloons in the economy at large but this is a picture of a Jeff Koons Balloon Dog, one of which sold for a ridiculous
$58.4 million.
It's also poignant that the artist/writer has been sued for copying the style of the old Ladybird Children's Book series, while at the same time they have started copying her idea of doing droll "Ladybirds for Grown Ups." Not surprisingly, a quick perusal suggests none of the Penguin knock offs are half as funny.
