As many of you know, I went to the Fedorafest IV in Memphis/Covington last May and came away with ideas for hats that I would not have thought of before. I started looking at names of some of the great Blues musicians both current and past, along with other people/ entities associated with the blues and came away with so many ideas my head hurt!!!!
So, without further ado, please let me show you just a couple of hats to start this line
Please meet "Gatemouth"
Steel pure beaver
Brim = raw edged 2 1/2"
Silk Finish
5 1/2' crown open
4 1/2" creased in Diamond
ribbon color "glen"
When going to Beale street in Memphis with my friend the first thing he pointed out was a store there that had been there for generations and the owner was a good friend of his. The name of the store sent me through the roof with ideas, it was called "Tater Red's"
Please meet "Tater Red"
color= Cabernet , pure beaver
brim = raw edge. 2 3/8"
crown= 5 1/2" open, 4 1/2"creased in what I would call "Double diamond"
ribbon color "cream"
What do you think guys? Ed has already started making pages for them ( 8 total right now, more coming) for my website and I'm busy getting ready for a road trip to LA but in the next few weeks they will be available for sale. These are just the first two. Want to see more?
