Important for pipe smoking beginners: The "air channel trick"!

I just have to share this experience!

WHEN you're new in the pipe smoking world and you're wondering, why you're not able to smoke your pipe's filling all the way down.

Here's the trick:


1.
When you're down to the point, when the pipe seems to WANT to go out and you have too much filling left, take your pipetool's pin.

2.
Drive carefully down to the smokehole and "free" it a little.

And you will see, the pipe smokes like devil, again! And with mediocre-size pipe, you can smoke up to an hour and even more!

That's the air channel trick.

And today, I wanted to know it again!
So I grabbed my very basic Vauen Intro 4 and it gave me 1 hour and 6 minutes joy, holy moly!!

So you see, the trick works every time!

Works, works and works, I tell you!
Yesterday smoked the Vauen Duett 1500 and it gave me 1 hour and 20 minutes!

And it's worth to try these Meerschaum filters, in my opinion. Especially, when you got a pipe, that works perfectly with filters!

These newer filters with 15% less filling, for better flow, def. don't kill all the tobacco taste.

And if you want an easy beginner pipe, get a Savinelli 320 shape.

AND:

If you're smoking an aromat and you just don't know, why your pipe doesn't want to run as it should be, don't waste time to "work" on the filling!
Too much condensate at the bottom half.

Just empty it out and put the stuff in an easy going pipe, best in one of your "no-brainers". Flat potty always recommended.
