Can anyone tell me what this jacket is - no other photos, sorry.

Is it vintage? Only time I've seen those kinds of patch pockets were on a Grais jacket.

This one was worn by Helen Hunt in the movie Twister and I've always wondered what it was.

That's how it works - doesn't tell me who made it though. :D

Would have though the patch pockets were distinctive. May even have been made for the film.

I doubt it's a custom job, it's hardly an iconic or remarkable coat & looking at Google images, she didn't appear to wear it a lot in the movie.Besides the wardrobe budget in this movie must have been limited to a couple of hundred bucks.:D What often happens is that the wardrobe dept. (unless the costume is a major part of the character) will go out & buy & few jackets & then the actor/ actress will choose which one they prefer for the character they're playing.

I know how films work and you may be right. But Twister cost $92 million 20 years ago and Ms Hunt is said to be demanding about costumes. It could easily be custom. I hope it isn't.

I'm just curious it's the thrill of the chase. Once i know I'll move on to the next thing.
