Hello all,

Just looking to get an I.D on this jacket below - it doesn't have any tags on it and I'm curious to know what it might be, as well as any alternative high quality close match.

As a side question, is there currently a megathread focusing on identifying unknown pieces of clothing? Jackets, sweaters, shoes, pants, hats etc? I couldn't find one, not sure if it would be worthwhile?

Thank you!

The only reason I wouldn't be for it is because of the extra time it would entail in moving posts requesting an ID into the proper thread. The current fit thread for jackets often takes a lot of time in getting fit pic requests where they ought to go.

Is it a fuzzy liner? This leather looks late 60s-70s. I have a Kurland from the era. Thhe buttons look large for a 30s-40s jacket. Looks more like an Ike than a cossack to me.

To be honest, not sure as I'm looking to purchase it or a high quality similar style online. Based on what the seller has listed, they believe it to be 60s and American.

I did find through picture research what it most likely was based off, which is the Levi Menlo Cossack but I'm sure there are other similar jackets.
