Here are the most recent photos of my triplets:

I've had the Dark Brown (Imperial felt) since August of 2008, and the Tawny Fawn (Imperial felt) since October of 2013. Both hats have seen decent amounts of rain with no ill effects; if anything, the rain made the felt a little softer. I've had the Moonstone Gray (Heritage felt) since September of 2015, but it has only been lightly rained on once or twice.
Great bash on your triplets!

Thank you Sir! Initially I had given the Dark Brown one a simple Center Dent crease, but quickly discovered that didn't leave enough room for my head, which would push the dent out from the inside. As such, I didn't wear it often, but couldn't decide how I wanted to re-crease it. A few months ago I finally decided to try a Diamond (something I had never had much luck with) and I liked it so much that I re-creased the other two (which had Teardrop creases) as well.

There are obviously some variations, but I went with what each hat seemed to want. And now all three fit my head better than they ever did before! :D

Thanks all, reassuring feedback. Front on, I was having trouble / getting used to the lack of taper (which is what I wanted, but still seemed massive at first) - seemed quite wide in the crown, never mind the brim.

As I was warned by other Loungers, I am finding 2-2 1/4 inch brims on my other, modern hats appearing somewhat small now?!

What sort of bash is that? A center dent, diamond or something else? I like the looks of what I'm seeing.

Thanks! It's a teardrop following the Teardrop Workshop. Having said that, it is not smooth and I keep wanting to put a diamond in. Now that the crown height seems right and the brim shaped how I think I like it, will probably move to a diamond.

Here's my first Akubra which is a Fed IV. The wide brim is winning me over, but still working on getting it right.

Good work. Is that the Carbon Gray? The first pic looks like it, but the second has tones of brown.

My first fedora back in '09 was the CG Fed IV. After viewing videos here, I had no trouble shaping it. Looks like you used the same resource!

Yes, it's carbon grey but under a yellow light which seems to change the tone. For sure, I would not have been able to crease it without the how to' s and pictures in the Lounge! Am waiting for an OR Clone and depending on how that works, may order a Moonstone or BG Camp Draft. Argh. Addiction. Must slow it down to savour the moment and manner of each hat...!

Nah, you can do that when you have an entire wall covered in hats

What is "Corto Maltese" ???

Adult themed (as in topics, not pornographic) adventure comic book set between 1913-1925 or so about a Venetian sailor explorer etc. Famous for the drawings by the author, Hugo Pratt and for the great stories and characters. You can see more here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corto_Maltese or at cortomaltese.com (there is an English language icon).

Pre-internet, video days, these stories were pretty cool (uh, still are).

I bought a Fed IV about four years ago. It was my second Akubra, the first being a Bushman that I got about 28 years ago. I saw it on the Lounge and was very excited. I ordered one in Moonstone but it doesn't work for me. In pictures posted by you gentlemen it looks great with its' blocky crown and wide brim. On this jug head the crown looks very low however. I even had JJ Hat Center put on a 7/8" ribbon to try to make the crown look taller. Didn't work It is now my least worn hat. Has anyone else had this experience? If so what did you do other than to cease wearing it?

Go post that hat on the classified ads. Size and color?
