I am worried!

I saw the horrible situation that's going on in the south of the US.
Those tornado's destroyed so many people's lives, I am so shocked!
Are you all ok? Are your relatives safe?

Thank you, Romy Overdorp. As I type this, we in North Carolina are under a National Weather Service tornado warning. The same weather system that killed so many south and west of us is now moving into our area. Just recently...April 16th...another tornado system killed 24 people in eastern North Carolina...so we are quite "gun shy" of tornados. We are accustomed to worrying about late summer hurricanes, but this spring's severe weather has been a new and unpleasant experience for many of us.

I've been terribly worried as well. I've an old friend who lives in Huntsville, Alabama, where the storms hit incredibly hard. The tornadoes have devastated his town. We hadn't heard from him- power is out and all we could do was wait. But I *just* learned he is alive and well! Oh the relief! He and his sister are fine.

SO grateful.
