Hello all,

I just installed a new hat ribbon on my old Adam. Problem is, the crown is not perfectly cylinderical and there is a gap at the top of the ribbon.

This is a polyester ribbon, is there anyway to tighten up the fit without undoing the ribbon?

Thanks

Swirl the Ribbon

To do it properly, you need to remove the ribbon and swirl it with an iron. That is to pull the ribbon into an arc while applying heat, then re-attach it. Or, send it to me and I will do it for $10.00

The only problem is that polyester doesn't exaclty swirl that well, if any.
You may need to just use tacking stitches around the top as best as possible.
