I'd like to introduce Loungers to what Mark Lamarr (BBC top rockin' DJ) has described as "the best Hillbilly band in the UK", the DEL RIO RAMBLERS.
Spookily authentic recreation of late 1940s/early 1950s Country - Hillbilly Bop, Western Swing, and Honky Tonk. Knowledgeable people have mistaken tracks from their CD for original period recordings. But I confess to a certain bias…..

Playing Hemsby in May and Hultsfreed Hayride (Sweden) in July. Web page with gig list here
http://delrioramblers.co.uk/ but tends to get out of date: best place to keep track of gigs etc is the FACEBOOK page: not being on facebook I can't supply the link.
Maybe meet some of you at gigs, don’t be shy to introduce yourself!
