Help identifying A Borsalino Please

Just got a new Borsalino and would appreciate help in identifying it.

As you can see it is a center dent with a 2” brim. It has a long nap and the edge is sown over.

I don't know model name, but it's a very new one.

Dinerman has it right, I think. That "Borsalino" stamp in gold-colored ink on the bow has me feeling quite confident that it's a recent one. And I've never seen that blue liner on anything but relatively new Borsalinos. Our besdor is the real expert on such matters, though. Perhaps he'll weigh in?

I have a black Cashmere Overcoat that will match perfectly.

However, isn't there a way to get the year made from the CODE ???

Your hat is fairly new. The color number 41 is Mirtillo and the size is 7 1/2. The other number suggests that the hat was made around 1990. What did you pay for it?

I paid $41 including shipping. I just couldn't pass it up.
I normally go with a wide brim 2 5/8 - 3" But I need a short brim to break things up.

Color

Thanks for the color code. Mirtillo means Wilderberry which is like a blueberry. A Deep Dark Blue. It is so dark, that unless it is in sunlight, it appears black.
