Hi! I'm so pleased to have taken the time to check out this wonderful site. What a great place for someone like me to hang around! I am a lover of all things 40's and 50's. My love of this time period is so much that I would prefer to live it as thoroughly as possible. Am I crazy or are there people here that feel the same way? I am not sure I've posted in the right place. The "Hello to the new ladies" thread seems to be closed. I'm hoping someone around here can kind of show me the ropes and maybe lead me to the best place for new members.

Gosh. Now I'm terribly embarassed. I should have just "replied" In the welcome new ladies thread! Ooops. Sorry.

The OB is the social area for all of us. It contains lots of threads on, well, pretty much everything.

Don't worry about "posting in the wrong place". You aren't the first to start a thread like this, you won't be the last, don't sweat it. Those links ought to start you off. Make sure you read through the guidelines, and the FAQs help a lot too. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask. We're a pretty friendly group.
