Do any of you men and women know the best way to turn photo number one into photo number two...or something like that.

It's hard to tell perspective Robert, but it looks like either a 1/2" shackle iron or 3/4 shackle iron should do it.

Thanks. I suppose those shackle irons are a dime a dozen.

The iron's are hard to find and then they are not cheap.

the easy way is a shackle iron

the hard way is to get a piece of electrical cable/rubber hose/rope that is the size of curl you want and start wetting and working.
