"Harry Enfeld's Television Programme" and "Harry Enfeld and Chums" both had wonderful spoofs of the 1940s.

Yeah I loved these! I used to watch it every Friday night! Wow that must have been about 8 years ago now!

Yes, Harry Enfield, and afterwards The Fast Show (lots of recent clips in the UK Events thread) were some of the best of the 90s. The Fast Show i'd say was better but it's a close run thing. Enfield's Mr Youdon'twannadothat perhaps defines my early teenage years . . .
