Had a nice time at my brother's wife's mother's house.

Turkey, pie, bread and all the rest... I was a fool to leave my hat on the arm of a couch... about halfway through the festivities it struck me.. where is my hat?

I found it under some cushions and behend the back of a friend of the family.

It was a vintage Dobbs and was flat... i was a bit perturbed as I know how hats are invisible to most people unless they are on a head.

I popped out the hat and it was none the worse for wear.

Of all the hats I own, I can't stress enough how the felt from the old days can take a pounding and end up looking fine.
