I just had the pleasure of dealing with The Old Radio Shop in Hueytown, Alabama.
They offer a very reasonably priced ($50) Aux Input (or Custom Input) that allows you to connect your iPod/CD, etc directly into your vintage radio. You can also have him add an A/B switch so you can still us the radio for normal operation. He also sells the Ramsey AM transmitter and does general radio repairs. (He even made some repairs on mine that he didn't charge me for!). He's a super great guy. Knows his stuff and does great work.
