Greetings fellow Loungers,
I’m an entry-level jacket collector and lurker here the TFL, with the hope of learning and contributing more over time. It is time to thin the collection a bit, so I’m offering up for sale my Good Wear Leather Ventura half belt in horsehide with the Monarch tag. I purchased this jacket in February 2013 from the original owner, who had Chapman make it to his specifications several years earlier, so the jacket is 4-5 years old now and just starting to brake in. Jacket horsehide is a lighter-weight aniline brown russet, brown rayon lining, nickel riveted main zipper, brass chain pull pocket zipper, brass adjusters for body and sleeves, white cotton lining pockets. Non-smoker, no stains, smells or damages. Measurements as follows; shoulders 19 1/4”, pit to pit 24”, back 25 ½”, front 23 ½”, sleeve 25”. Pictures tell the rest of the story. I’m 5’10” 180 lbs - this is a proper fit and my grail jacket (given the current price and wait for this now - http://www.goodwearleather.com/pages/californian_ventura.html), however, it just don’t wear it enough.
