This is the narrative I posted on a Thread about the GW Beck.

Saw it on ebay, got a message from the owner. He is a TFL member, so we made a deal. Jacket arrived today then I found out the original pattern jacket came from another TFL member. Small jacket world.

I don't know about Beck jackets. I'm not sure what model this one is based on. I did get an inquiry several months ago about a Beck 666. I had never heard of the model.

I'm sure readers will educate me.

This jacket has no size tag. I estimate a 46 since it feels a bit big on me. I typically wear a 44. Maybe it just the style of jacket. I'm use to more form fitting cafe racers. The seller wears a 42, so too big for him. He had an opportunity and tried it on.

I would estimate 3 ounce Horween Horsehide. Nice weight. Has a vintage look and feel.

I'm curious, is there any way to measure what the bicep and forearms areas of the sleeves would be?

The chest, shoulders and arm length all check my boxes, but I'm a little concerned the sleeves might not be as trim on my arms as I'd hope for.

The video shows the measurement of the bicep area of 8 3/4 across flattened.

forearm area 7 1/4

I measured a Buzz Rickson size 44 A2 in the same bicep area for comparison. it is 8 1/4

That was so awesome of you to do a video, I really appreciate it.

I was checking your measurements against a few jackets I have. The sleeves on this particular jacket seem to be a bit larger than average.

I have a Freewheelers Mulholland (size 44) and the bicep is 8 inches and the forearm a hair under 7 inches. Those are pretty fitted for my body type, too.

I don't have any cafe racers anymore but I also measured a Leathertogs I have and the measurements for a size 44 are even fitter than the Mulholland.

I'm wondering if the jacket was made for Popeye? I am 6'3" and 230 and those sleeves would be big on me. I really love this thing but unfortunately the numbers don't quite match up.
