Thanks to the good folks at the30style.com , here are a few links to golden era suit styles.

Remember Hideki Okisaka, the master Japanese tailor whose work we all admire? Well, turns out he now has his own website, from which you can order a custom suit. Here it is: http://www.k5.dion.ne.jp/~savoy/
And here are his phone numbers: http://www.k5.dion.ne.jp/~savoy/info.html

Here is a French tailor, Marc Guyot. Some good stuff: http://www.marcguyot.com/3.aspx

And here: http://www.marcguyot.com/4.aspx?Pro...tID=e3ff8d2e-7fae-47a3-82ba-5ef5d8246eee&sr=0

And here: http://www.marcguyot.com/2.aspx

And here: http://www.marcguyot.com/6.aspx

Some fine fashion plates from '30s suit catalogs: http://www.costumes.org/history/100pages/1937chicagowool.htm

The fellows at Style Forum recently discovered the Marc Guyot site

I saw that thread and was a little confused at the discovery of Marc Guyot since his site, and photos from it, have been posted on SF/AAAC for years AND MG is a member of both forums.[huh] It would be akin to someone on FL posting that they discovered Indy Magnoli

The Japanese links don't work Marc... is there a problem? The Donegal Tweed suit on the Guyot link is nice IMHO...
