Hi Everyone

I did ask the mods about this but didn't hear back so being ever the optimist I'll view that as a greenlight! :)

Having said that this isn't a piece of blatant self-promotion - it's just a gentle nudge towards a book which I'm very proud of which features old cars, flying boats, old aircraft, golden era heroes and heroines, a strange creature and generally an overwhelming sensibility of the 1930s...

It's a children's book called 'The Talent Thief' but it's one of those where adults have responded as strongly as kids.

Would love feedback, comments etc.

Hi, just discovered this thread, your book seems to have got some glowing reviews on amazon. I'm studying illustration and have dabbled in children's books a bit. I'm intrigued.

I much prefer the art deco styled racecar cover, but I assume both are used in parallel for different markets, younger/older flashier/more subdued tastes.
