A devout capitalist in Los Angeles CA.
He's in Beverly Hills and I'm going to check out his shop. Anyone else been there yet?

Makes suits for Arnald and I think they look fantastic. Arnold is comfy and that's what counts.

I heard an interview with Trabalza and he specifically mentioned higher cut armholes which shows he is on the ball...

Now if he would only shorten his sleeves.

I used Giacomo in the early to mid 90s. I like the stuff and still wear it, though my tastes have migrated a bit toward softer clothing with more drape and less shoulder. The price was gawdawful back then; can only be worse now.

Oh, and the shop is not really in BH, though that is what it says on the label he sews inside the jackets.

So far as I know, all he does is bespoke. He is one of only two genuine cutter-tailors left in LA. No pics of that stuff, sorry. It is quite crisp and Northern Italian. It doesn't have a particularly vintage look (unlike the stuff I've been getting recently in New York) but it is exquisitely made and fits like a glove.

Mr. Trabalza's own suit (in the photo) doesn't catch my eye, so I wouldn't want to be his customer.
That's not him, FYI. Though he is not that well dressed. Very few tailors are, actually.

My favorite tailor in New York dresses like an extra from a movie set about pre-WWI Irish hoodlums. Yet he makes just about the best clothing I have ever seen.

My tailor dresses, as we say here, 'pretty average'. He's a master with the needle and thread nonetheless. I once jokingly asked him why he didn't dress up a bit more, seeing as he enjoys the 40's-style suits I've commissioned him to make for me, and he informed me that his priority was definitely comfort and ease of movement in the shop. I couldn't argue with that! :)
