FS: Vanson Model B, dark brown, size 38/40

Hi all, I'm mostly a lurker here and thought someone here may like this jacket before it goes up on ebay.

This is a much loved Vanson Model B custom job without the side buckles or a zip in liner. It's the competition weight leather in dark brown (which I've hardly ever seen), brass hardware, and has plenty of hard earned patina (see photos).

It's a size 40, but I had the sides taken in by Johnson's Leather in San Francisco for a closer fit in the body. Johnson's also makes custom leather jackets and they did a fantastic job. I can't tell it was altered at all other than the fit. The result is basically a jacket with measurement of a size 40 in the shoulders with size 38 in the body.

For reference, it's a perfect close fit for me and I'm 5'11'', 170 lbs, 39'' chest, 33'' waist. I've since tried on a Vanson size 38 Model A, which was slightly more snug fitting than my jacket.

Somebody buy this so that I can justify getting an Aero!

terrible light in my apartment. color is hard to tell. kind of a dark chocolate brown. this image gives a better sense of the color (not my jacket)
