FS: Vanson Leather Vest, Zip-front, sz. 38 (New!)

Practically unworn Vanson Zip-front leather vest in a size 38.

Arrived this morning from Italy. Girl I bought it from says her dad got it brand new sometimes during the 90's and never once wore it and I'm inclined to believe her as the vest looks, feels and smells like it just left Vanson's factory. Except not now 'cause then it'd be made out of that ugly-ass leather.

Straightforward zippered leather vest, done in that good Comp. weight leather! The kind that made us all fell in love with Vanson. Naked-ish hide without the thicc, molten garbage bag finish. Natural grain & texture. Soft.
Fancy Talon no. 5 zipper. Two pockets. Rayon lining... That's it.

☛CONDITION
As you can see, the vest is new or as new. I don't think it's been worn. Or zipped up for that matter 'cause the zipper feels like it needs to set into place, like on brand new jackets. The vest still has that new leather scent!

Tagged 38. Vanson says these fit snug and you better believe it. I can wear sz. 36 & I can barely zip this thing up, hence this thread! It is very important that you completely disregard size number and go with the measurements below.

• P2P, measured across bottom of the arm openings: 48 cm / 19"
• Waist size, across the line where the zipper ends: 44 cm / 17.5"
• Back length: 52 cm / 20.5"

I'd PM you straight away, before making a thread if it happen to fit you but since we're roughly the similar in size no., I knew right away there's no way this vest would work for you.

It's really ridiculous they use this kind of size numbers for their vests and jackets, as this one is a good 2-3 inches tighter than what their slimmest jacket in a size 38 would be. I could wear a Model B sz. 38 even when I had 15 kg more while I can't zip this up.

It was supposed to be a replacement for Schott but I guess that didn't turn out as planned. . .

Doesn't seem very likely at all Vanson's CW is ever going to be good again so here's your chance to grab something in some of the best hide they ever used.
This vest is seriously stunning and infinitely more so in person. I try it on every now and again to see if I lost enough weight to wear it but it won't ever work for me at 19" chest.
