Description:

Offering a Stetson 100 Open Road beaver felt hat with its original leather presentation case. Dated believed to be early 1960s.

Hat

• Stetson 100 beaver felt, Open Road style
• Size tag reads “1/2” (the whole number is worn or missing). Inside measurement is approx. 8" front to back at the sweatband, which points to a 7 1/2. Full inside circumference about 23.6".
• Monogrammed leather sweatband/liner: Initials - N.L.E.
• Color: Beige (see photo) / Crown: shape (see photo) and height: approx. 5.25” / Brim: width: 3”
• Condition: crown, brim edges, felt are in very good condition. No moth holes, sweatband wear and no stains.

Case

• Original leather case, monogrammed [N.L.E.], with red lining
• Condition: hardware, lock, latches, lining, exterior wear - Normal signs of ware based on age
• The hat and case are a matched, original set

Notes

• The monogram on both hat and case suggests a personalized gift or special order. Was a gift from my mother to my father.
• No repairs, or cleaning/reshaping done that I know of.
