Schott MA-1 Leather Bomber Jacket, style #127, in a size 42.
$160 + shipping
Produced from '88 to '94, this jacket's made in classic Schott naked Cowhide & is essentially identical to the American MA-1 Bomber jacket. You've got two hand-warmers, one lining pocket & one zippered sleeve pocket. Fully lined.
For some reason, it appears to be very popular in Japan & is indeed quite rare.
Gotta note, this thing is so comfortable & easy to wear that it immediately became my first pick when going out and that's something I don't feel good about due to my no army stuff pledge.
But it's a very cool looking, fun wearing, no-fuss leather jacket. Warm, too. Plus it's got some serious tEa-CoRe thing going on!
Looks, feels & wears fine but there are two notable issues with it, which are...
1. The main zipper slider will occasionally fail to lock the teeth together (4 out of 10 times). No big deal but a bit annoying. There's a system to it, you gotta angle the slider right as you zip the jacket & once you figure it out, it's a non-issue.
2. Two tiny worn-through spots in the sleeves (see last three photos!)
Good vintage condition, otherwise. Just creases & color fade in the leather. Lining flawless. Clean.
MA-1 fits very baggy and there's no point in measuring elastic bands so here are all the "hard" measurements...
• Chest width (armpit to armpit): 64 cm / 25"
• Shoulder width: 54 cm / 21"
• Approx. sleeve length (with elastic bands included): 66 cm / 26"
• Back length (waist band included): 62 cm / 24.5"
That's it. Enjoy the photos and for any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Shipping from EU. Thanks!
