This is an awsome jacket, period. One of my favorites. So why sell? Because having 2 of them isn't helpful when I have a l.w. test due anyday now from stu. The jacket is showing some good grain patterns. There is some scuffs here and there, and the inside pocket has some loose threads, easy fix. Size 44

The sharks are circling. I was going to nab this after Carlos requested measurements, because he's in Europe and if the jacket is in the US, we get hometown dibs as long as the dib is entered within 10 minutes after a measurement is requested without clear intent to buy - Article 52 lines 33, 34, 35 of the Leather Jacket Exchange Act of '03.

But, out of brotherly courtesy one may elect to defer, either by withholding said dib or stating intent to purchase if Euro poster elects to pass. Examples can be seen here in this thread by both myself (withhold) and Ton (deferred dib).

Jmax did the honorable thing and deferred to the original deferred. Which in this case is ALWAYS Ton.

Should Carlos pass, Jmax and I are bound by honor to drive up on the price on Ton by throwing out an offer to the OP. Once @Monitor sees this posting, he will provide the well reasoned logic that surely, a jacket this perfect, should be worth at LEAST $1800.

Honestly, I was about to! Man, show me one, just ONE freaking LW with this kind of leather and I'll admit the error of my ways. People are waiting for decades to get this kinda grain and wear from their LW jackets. And it still ain't happening. Ever. Of all the LW's I've seen pass thru here, this is the jacket I'd pick first.

And not just because it's basically a freebie.
