2nd Jacket I have for sale. There were 12 of these Jackets made by Aero. They are rare. It is a "Mid Weight

FQHH, sold by Mark Moye to a few of his better customers(ones that spent a lot of Money with him!). So it has

the advantages of being FQHH but in a much lighter weight. I have a full FQHH A-2 from Aero. It is a great

Jacket, but VERY heavy horse. This jacket is the same "weight" as the reguler HH from Aero. Yet gets that

creased up look super easy Like the FQHH does.

This jacket has only been worn a few hours in the house. Never outside, yet gets that creased up look easily

that FQHH is know for. It feels the same weight as my other HH A-2 jackets from Aero. It has Berry knits and a

Red Cotton Drill lining with a Silk Blood Chit Inside Pocket. Also note the Vintage original Crown Chevron Zipper

that is in perfect condition.

The FQHH from Aero feels like butter once it breaks in. This jacket is on it's way but needs some more wearing.

A few weeks of daily wear and this would look like a vintage Jacket.

The Jacket is a "Stock" Aero 48. It is a 42-15142-P Pattern. Berry Knits, Red Cotton Drill lining with Silk Blood

Chit Inside Pocket. Jacket FQHH is oily and has some creases and marks that come upon FQHH with just a little

wear. The knits are as New. I have 2 of these, I am keeping the one with my Urbaniak Bunny Patch on it!

Measurements:
Pit to Pit: 26"
Epaulette to End of Leather Sleeve on outside 25.5, Includes the knits"
Epaulette to Epaulette: 21.5"
Down the Back to start of knits: 24"

Here are my PIX:

I know the Jacket looks broken in, but it's not. Has a long ways to go. The creasing here is after just a few

hours in my house. With some use this Jacket will be magnificent!

Price is $675 shipped CONUS. I will ship Internationally, the buyer will pay the Cost of a

Large Flat rate USPS shipment.

I live near West Palm Beach. It's 80F usually on Xmas! I get a few days I can wear a Jacket in Jan and Feb,

not the whole 2 months, just a few days! That's why my Jackets look like new. I also have too many Jackets.

Trying to whittle it down to 15 or so...

23" is standard sleeve length for an Aero A2..? When did that happen? I have one standard size 40 with 24 1/2" sleeves and the other two reg. size 40s are 25". Are you including knit?

Thanks Les. I have to say, the left arm is troubling...seems to be a bad swatch of hide - cracking, etc. compared to the rest of the jacket.
Let me ponder. That I admit may be too much to overlook...
Thanks for posting. I'll get back to you.

The price just isn't low enough (not saying it's bad, just that a new one is ~$775 )and that panel would bug me off too much to overlook.
Good luck on the sale. I'm just too OCD I'm afraid...

Perhaps I have the price a little high.

This jacket is not available from Aero. They only had 12 jackets worth of this leather. You are referring to an A-2 from Aero with a repro zip I think in Standard HH. The crown usually goes for over $100 if you can find one.

If it were your Jacket and you were selling it, what number would you have on it?

Well, as my dad taught me young - something is worth exactly what someone is will ing to pay for it.
I've bought two Aero A2's in the last year (barely used like yours) for $420 and $440. I was personally limiting myself to $400 for a used coat, but I was able to "test drive" them before and decided the extra wasn't a big deal.
You might get more for it - I know it's hard to find the larger jackets like these, and I wanted yours when I saw it. I wouldn't dare tell you how much to sell to for, but if you wanted the "market value" I suppose ebay is the way to go, unless you're open to offers here. You'd avoid the charges imposed by ebay if you did...
I bought two perfect A2's with Talon zips and one with cape skin which put them both close to the $950 mark new and they were both custom, one-offs so to speak. So, that tells you where I'm at...

OK thanx.

I've sold quite a few ELC's and Aero's recently and they did a lot better than you have been buying them for, so you're a good shopper!

Like I said, it's worth what someone will pay. It could be $100, it could be $1000. best of luck. I hope you get a good deal on 'er!
