For sale here is a very special pair of Wesco boots. Maybe it's lesser known in US that the poluplar style "Mister Lou" is actually an creative inspiration from Wesco's exclusive distributor in Japan. When such a style was first an exclusive for Japan, It was called "Narrow Engineer", in effect a combination of sleek Motorcycle Patrol flat toe with higher Boss heels(instead of low heels), to create a vintage dressy look seen on 30s or 40s pull on boots.
And This pair for sale here is a prototype before the official release of Narrow Engineer, still made with Motorcycle Patrol style top straps and without instep straps. The WJ imprint on the lining indicates that this boots were made exclusively for Japan back then. Anyway, just want to give the boots some background information.
Rumor has it that Wesco boots made for Japan are subject to higher quality control. I am not sure whether it's true. but I can't find any issue or defect on this seconds boots. a very nice and solid riding boots.
