FS: 44 Langlitz circa 60s Columbia CHP motorcycle jacket

An Langlitz Columbia CHP jacket from, I believe 60s, very beautiful aging patina only seen on early Langlitz made of black leather with brown undertone. sleeves, armpits or hem area where rubbing and creasing constantly happens show more discoloredness. amazingly and naturally aged appearance. The front zipper has been replaced with a #10 YKK. Pocket and cuff zippers are original bell-shaped Talon. the left cuff zipper was broken when I first got this jacket. I used the same original deadstock Talon zipper to do the replacement. there is leather reinforcement on the lining below the collar to prevent future tear and wear. no any other rips or holes in the lining. the leather is very supple, has no cuts or damages, still has a long life, except on the edge of collar it shows some abraision and tiny holes. the waist laces are new.

It has a customized leather panel that can be zipped up to expand size. with it, this jacket can be a 46 also. It is shown in the photos.

Standard stock size 44. there is a stamp of 44 on the inside pocket lining.

I did not need to see this. I sold a Langlitz with this hide and think about it from time to time. FWIW, Langlitz told me it was a 50s jacket. Super nice price too. I’m logging off b4 I break.
