Scare Crow was a Tokyo based store which retailed Wesco, Viberg, Langlitz and other heritage American brands in 1980s and 1990s before Langlitz Japan became the exclusive distributor of Langlitz. This jacket was custom ordered in 1998 by Scare Crow. I bought it from Japan second hand.
Amazing batch of high quality cowhide from early period. Sturdy and hefty 6.5 pounds of leather on this jacket. yet very supple and wearable. comfortable enough to be a casual daily jacket and strong enough to offer secure biker protection. Very nice and beautiful zip front Timberline (Sidewinder). If it fits you, I would say it's almost even better than ordering a new one. I took a chance and it ended up not working for me. one defect to note, the cuff zipper's pull are missing.
