Fruit Trees

One of my apple trees have rust on the leaves or I think that is what I would call it. (cedar apple rust? ) A peach tree is on one side but sick looking. Does anyone know if this can affect the apple tree?
Also does anyone know how to keep squirrels from eating all the apples and leaving us a few of them anyway?

Pellet gun and a 24/7 patrol.
If they're used to humans, sometimes you can sneak up on them, whack them with a 2X4, and nail their carcass to a tree to scare away their friends. It doesn't work, but it'll make you feel better.

I spray Liquid Fence on the fruit trees in my orchard to repel deer and squirrels. Of course, a rifle is more effective, but it requires more patrolling. As for the rust on the leaves, take a leaf in to your local extension office for evaluation. They can tell you exactly what you need.

thank you all. I am not kidding when I say last year our 2 apple trees were absolutely loaded with apples. Several hundred at least. We did not get one apple with the deer and the furry rats as someone called the squirrels.
