Hello, I bought me a vintage Moto cuir jacket and don't know much about the brand, only that they made jackets in France in the 70s and 80s and are somewhat of a collectible item now. Anyone else here is collecting them or know more about the brand?
The brand has been bought by German manufacturers now and they offer a modern version for a lot of money. But I'm more interested in the French old ones.

Not a brand I know much about. I've seen them selling in the UK, though - typically fairly cheaply. These are a general style that were ubiquitous among UK riders from about 1978 towards the back end of the 80s, a later design period than piques my interest, though I see them on sale a lot more often now in vintage places - partly selling what's available, partly the vintage 'market' moving on. Miriam Shor wore one identical to your third image as Yitzhak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001). Not sure if it was that exact brand, though - I remember a few different names attached to this sort of thing when I used to haunt the used leathers places in Camden.

Interesting, so is this type of jacket and the painted patterns a style that origined in the UK? Cause there are several Moto Cuir Brands from France, all of them have a golden patch sewn on it, but sometimes they use different regional terms. For example I have a Moto Cuir one called "St. Bernard". A lot of them have tags in it which reads Paris.

Here for examples some differences. I haven't found out what exactly that Blue Bird is. Seems to have been around at the same time in the 70s or 80s. Not sure if it's part of Moto Cuir Paris or something completely different.
