I did not want to offer any unsolicited opinion. I wasn’t sure if the OP was asking for for fit feedback, if the OP is happy…my input is irrelevant.

I’m a fan of the J31 style (the eight snaps). Between RMC Buco J31 and Freewheelers Centinela, which one is a better jacket in terms of comfort?

I've tried the RMC and it was very uncomfortable. It was new and the leather wasn't broken in yet but still, the jacket was choking me.

I've never tried the Centinela but I have tried a couple La Brea's which I assume have a similar base pattern? They were perfectly comfortable.

Edit: the Langlitz Comstock is another double breasted style jacket.

Thanks, Marc. It appears that RMC Buco J31 has a bad pattern.

The Langlitz Comstock doesn’t look attractive for some reasons, maybe the snap buttons are too small compared to the overall jacket.

RRL did a Buco J31 calfskin repro in 2015 as well, called “Watts jacket.”
