I tried it out, but I've never tried to tape paper together for a pattern and they came out all wonky. It's sitting in my to be completed pile Maybe I'll work on it tonight, or maybe not
Here's a link to a slipper pattern from this month's Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine. I have a similar pattern for making espadrilles in a 1943 sewing book I got, just no way of currently scanning it. Even though it's not authentic, someone might still find it useful.

Babydoll posted a lovely array of her full and half circle skirts here and I am inspired to make one (or several).
Being sometimes frugal, I scoured around for free patterns. I made a circle skirt without a pattern once when I was teaching sewing, but that was in the early 80's and need a refresher!
