This is an absolutely beautiful vintage overcoat made by Savoy Tailors Guild. A genuinely high quality item!

Details

• Fabric is a medium weight 100% wool in a black and white Prince of Wales Check. Simply stunning in person.
• Showerproof layer sandwiched between the outer fabric and lining - useful if you get caught in the rain.
• Three button front (covered), with a fourth button at the top to close the collar. Collar can be flipped up.
• Smoked mother of pearl buttons
• Two side entry handwarmer pockets. Interior pocket.
• Single vent at the rear.
• Slightly padded shoulders for a clean line. Very classic silhouette with a slightly nipped in waist.

Condition

Fantastic, wearable vintage condition. Item was steam cleaned for freshness when acquired. All buttons present, both inside and out. There were two small holes in the fabric on the left sleeve, but I had these professionally rewoven (shown in final two pictures). It's almost impossible to tell this was repaired unless you're right up close!

• 27.5 inches shoulder to end of sleeve
• 19.5 from shoulder seam to shoulder seam
• Base of collar to hem 40.5 inches
• 23 inches pit to pit
• 22.5 across waist at middle button
