Assigned to navigator duty with 7th Bomb Group, March Field, Calif., 1935. Reassigned when goodwill flight to Chile ended up in the Yukon.
Types of aircraft wrecked include A-12, A-17, A-18, B-7, B-10, B-18, C-4, C-39, O-19, O-38, PT-13, P-12, P-26, P-35, P-36, P-40.
Disappeared on ferry flight to New Guinea, last radio message: "JAAAAAAAAAPS!!!11!!1!!"
