This is my HWM with me pinching about 3 inches of the back together. The jacket looks awesome like this, it's my perfect jacket.

This is straps cinched up all the way which looks terrible. I wouldn't want to wear the jacket like this at all!

The point of all this is that I've been asking Aero if they can make me a HWM that fit's me well. So far it sounds like a no go which is a little disappointing. I don't want the waist so big, it makes me look like I've got a big belly. What choices do I have? It sucks because the HWM is the perfect style jacket for me.

See if Aero or Johnson leathers can get some body taken out instead of making a new one.

But it doesn't look bad! Your pics were some of my "reference, looks good" photos that I saw on google images when choosing a black Highwayman (more on that later).

Trust me, it doesn't look bad at all. But I can see how you might want a tighter fit.

The HWM is designed to be a boxy fit. With your body shape and the type of fit you want, a 30's Half Belt or another of Aero's slim fits might be your perfect jacket rather than the HWM.

+1

As Fanch says, the HWM is supposed to be boxy. Either an HB or one of the new designs might suit your needs better;)

That's why I eventually sold off my Highwayman: I did not like the boxy fit. The HB is what I wanted, and, now have. You might want to take a close look at the fit of those. There are plenty here on TFL.

I did consider the Halfbelt. The thing that made me decide against it is the way the belt creates a "High" or "second" waist affect. A lot of the pics I've seen have had that look, like the bottom blouses out. Also the Highwayman (IMO) is a more versatile jacket. I feel that the Halfbelt is more dressy. I rarely dress nice, mostly wear Carhartt so I wanted a rugged jacket to go w/my everyday attire and not just for special occasions...but HWM is good for those too. I still love my HWM, it's a great looking jacket and the quality is high. I got it off Ebay for less than 1/2 of new. If they're just gonna give me a stock size 46 I'll wait and get it 2nd hand for a lot less.

I need a Brown one which is why I'm getting the new one.

Edit- I am pretty sure the new 20s HB has side cinches positioned at the same height as the HWM

I must admit I am confused by this now. The thread header suggests Aero made the wrong size.

But it is just the wrong size off Ebay?

+1 that was my confusion at first too, but I reread the thread and I am now thinking he's trying to order a slimmer version of the stock 46 that is pictured (that was purchased for a song off of eBay). Do I have that right,1averagejoe?

IMO you should either size down (to a 44 or possibly lower) and get some extra length in sleeves and body, or go for a half belt. The false "halfbelt" in the back is what makes it the trimmer fit

For over $1000 dollars I want the jacket I want, I want it next week.

Hell, I guess customer service just aint what it used to be!

I wouldn't recommend sizing down Joe. If you don't like the fit in your own size I say (based on my experiences) you're better off switching models

But then, you're buying from a manufacturer with a full order book and a waiting list ;-)

You need to go a little further down the food chain..
