First Homburg, how exciting!!

Hi here's my first Homburg, its a Knox Superfine which is a rather nice mid brown. The crown is 5" and the brim 2 1/2"inches.
It needed a little cleaning up and i put in a pitch at the front. I,m not really sure of the age, possibly 50s i imagine any thoughts on that?

Judging by the manufacturer's tag and sweat band I would say '50s is possibly right. If I'm not mistaken I think the hat manufacturers went to that type of generic label sometime after 1953. Brad Bowers would be a better source for that information.

Lovely! It's rare indeed these days to see a homburg in anything other than black or grey. Lovely hats.
