There were a bunch of superheros that wore great hats. Clark Kent wore a great hat but he never flew with it. [huh] . Then there was the Green Lantern, Lamont Cranston (da Shadow), the Whistler, Jack Webb, (Joe Friday), Dick Tracy, and I forget who else. I consider the last two heros. Did you ever notice that in the old movies, when two guys were fighting, their hats never got knocked off? What the heck was holding them on? Wild Root??

Did you mean the Green Hornet? He wore a fine fedora in all versions.
